Reverend Joe McNeil, Pastor
From the Pastor's Desk:
Greetings everyone! I would like to say thank you for visiting our new church website.
Do I have to Read the whole Bible??
Sometimes, when you think about studying the Bible, it can be overwhelming. It doesn't have to be. To start out, pick a book of the Bible and decide on a few verses or a chapter a day to read. Find a special place and time that works best for you to spend with God alone.
The most important part of studying God's word is doing it regularly and always with an attitude to obey. Here are some helpful ideas for you to have a meaningful study time. Happy Studying!!
1. Ask the Lord to help you understand His Word, to make clear what you need to learn to grow as a Christian.
2. Write down the date and verses to read.
3. Write down at least one of the following things from these verses:
a) A promise from God.
b) A command or duty to obey.
c) A lesson about God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit.
d) A lesson about sin, what not to do.
4. Spend time praying about what you have just learned and need God's help with.
Wisdom is from the Lord!!
